Refund policy

If a tour or any part thereof is disrupted due to Force Majeure or Vis Majeure, Ride and Raft is not obligated to provide a refund. However, at its discretion, the Company may consider refunds based on various factors, such as the number of participants and the cancellation policies of suppliers like hoteliers and coach operators. The Company’s decision on the refund amount is final.

Refunds, if applicable, will take a minimum of 15 to 45 days to process.

No refunds will be issued if the client is unable to utilize any services, including hotels, sightseeing, rides, cruises, meals, entrance fees, or optional tours, for any reason.

Refunds for amendments and cancellations will be paid directly to the client, either through NEFT/RTGS, crossed cheque, or reversed to their credit card, at the Company’s discretion. Processing these refunds will take at least 45 days.

There are no refunds for unutilized services, such as meals, entrance fees, optional tours, hotels, transport, and sightseeing, for any reason.

If services booked in advance are canceled as per booking policy, refunds will be made in the same mode of payment after deducting cancellation and actual bank charges. It will take between 15 and 45 days for this process to appear in the client’s account.

Clients have the option to keep their refund money with the Company and receive a credit certificate, which can be used within 24 months.

CONDITIONS of Tours and Travel

Clients must strictly follow the Tour Program. No refund will be issued if a client fails to join the group at the start of the tour, joins later, or leaves before the tour ends. It is the client’s responsibility to reach the commencement point and register with the Company’s representative on time.

  • No refunds will be entertained if a client discontinues the tour due to illness, death, loss of travel documents, or any other reason. If a client fails to reach the commencement point, the booking will be treated as a “no-show,” and 100% cancellation charges will apply.
  • If a client uses pre-tour services or air tickets (booked under any offer) but fails to join the main tour, or cancels after using these services, it will be treated as a “no show,” and no refund will be issued for the unused services.
  • Ride and Raft reserves the right to withdraw tour membership from any client whose behavior affects the tour’s smooth operation or the enjoyment and safety of other passengers. The company will not be liable to such individuals.
  • The immunities in this contract apply to Ride and Raft’s employees, directors, managers, and agents, but not to independent contractors selected by the company.
  • Each condition is severable, and if any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. The company’s liability is limited to the total amount paid or agreed to be paid for the tour, excluding any consequential or incidental losses.
  • Clients must take out holiday insurance, which can be procured at their own cost.
  • Prices quoted are based on rates prevailing at the time of publication. Ride and Raft reserves the right to amend prices due to increases in fuel costs, special/high season charges, and airline/rail charges before departure. Clients must pay any such price increases in full before departure.
  • No suit or action can be brought against the company more than 7 days after the tour’s last day. Any rights under or arising from this contract will be deemed relinquished.
  • Ride and Raft reserves the right to withdraw any discount or benefit travel scheme at any time unless a specific assurance to the contrary is published.
